The Preschool and Children’s Ministries of Lake Highlands Baptist Church are designed to build a firm foundation of faith in the lives of boys and girls from birth through grade 5.

The Preschool Ministry is an integral part of Lake Highlands Baptist Church . It is a cooperative effort between the church and the home, utilizing the efforts of parents and the church body to effectively reach the children of our community with the message of the love of Jesus Christ. Our ministries currently include a developmentally appropriate, age-graded and activity-based Sunday School, Preschool Choirs beginning at age 3, and special events throughout the year. Extended Teaching Care is offered for preschoolers during all Worship Services.

The Children and Preteen Ministries for kindergarten through grade 5 students are high-energy, exciting, and life-changing. Our ministry, including all the events, programs, and Bible Study, is child-centered and designed to develop children as Christ Followers, God Worshippers, and Prayer Warriors. Children's Sunday School begins at 9:30 each Sunday morning. Come and See what God has instore for you!

Grades Pre-K through 5th enjoy "Launch Pad" each Wednesday from 6:00--7:30 p.m. in the Basement of the Children's Building. Kids learn how to launch their lives into meaningful relationships with Christ. Launch Pad incorporates children's choir, Biblical teaching, fun games, and music. Come check it out!

KidsWorship is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. Immediately following Sunday School, the kids meet in the Family Life Center for this special time with Mr. Matt. Join us for the series, "One Month to Celebrate" (The last Sunday of each month the kids join us in "Big Church" to all worship together.)
