NOTE: There will be NO mid-week activites on July 28. This is Family Night at the Ballpark!
This is a busy place on Wednesday nights with activities for all ages. The choices include...
Adult Bible Study Opportunities:
A Co-ed Bible Study led by the Pastor meets in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30. This spring, we are doing a study of the greatest sermon ever, Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount" (Matthew 5-7). We will be looking at what Jesus said was expected of his followers (then and now).
Ladies Only Our summer Bible study is called "Lord, I Want to Know You". It begins at 6:30 in Room 125 and childcare is available.
For the Youth:
Middle school and high school youth meet at 6:30 in the Family Life Center for a music-filled Worship Service created just for them.
For the Kids:
Expedition Kids! for kids Pre-K through 5th grades each Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Children's Building basement. This exciting program is full of variety and provides weekly Bible study, meaningful Scripture memory and fun life-skills activities. Tami Groves and her team of volunteers head up the action.
JOY Choir (Senior Adults) :
This choir is for Just Older Youth. They sing at retirement homes once a month and for other special occasions. This choir meets at 4:00 in the Chapel. (NOTE: The JOY choir is currently taking a break and working on recruiting new members. We'll let you know when they resume rehearsals.)
Seasonal Choir (Worship Services):
This choir sings in our worship services periodically, and helps lead at special seasonal events (such as Easter & Christmas). Youth through adults are invited to participate. They meet at 7:00 in the Choir Room at those times they are preparing to lead. Email Trey Groves if you have any questions. |
